The Botanical Gardens on the Border Between Izgrev and Trakia

We have been for walks in the Botanical Gardens. It is in between Izgrev, Skobeleva mayka [Skobelev’s mother] and Trakia. There is an alley between Izgrev and Trakia, which is pedestrian, I think, but then again cars might be allowed there too. It was the shortest route to Trakia for us, immediately before the overpass, to the right. The Botanical Gardens are still there but nobody takes care of them – everything is overgrown and no good for walks; there used to be various plants there in the past, birds too. In one of the corners there were a couple of cottages huddled together, very old and used by the people who maintained the gardens. They were owned by the Agricultural University and, possibly, the Fruitculture Research Institute, I am not sure.
