The Velodrome Hall was opened in 2011 and is the largest indoor sports facility in Plovdiv. It was built on the site of the open-air track cycling arena in Plovdiv on the initiative of the Tsar Simeon Cycling Club. The hall became a cultural stage that accommodates numerous concerts and performances. On occasion there are circus tents in the vicinity too.
