Places

The common thing that unifies the urban scenes, is the culture itself. The urban places are cultural scenes for communication in the different neighbourhoods, as well as the places, whereat various events are happening or could happen. They could be outdoor or indoor spaces. The outdoor spaces are squares and playgrounds, parks, gazebos, spaces between the housing buildings people live in (we call these buildings “blokove”), places for concerts, events, performances, streets, and outdoor scenes. The indoor spaces are the chitalishta, variety of event halls, exhibition spaces, cinemas, theatres, and so forth. On these scenes diverse “plays” are played from diverse “actors” and different “directors”. These plays are seen from diverse “spectators” on the common cultural scene of Plovdiv city.
