Izgrev

The neighbourhood is the peripheral urbanised territory to the east, on the south bank of the Maritsa River. Its territory is delimited by Tsarigradsko shose to the south, Stolipinovo to the west, with Landos Street as a borderline between the two neighbourhoods, the industrial zone and the arch of the ring road to the east, and the river to the north. The new part of the neighbourhood was built in the late 1970s. It is characterised by low-rise concrete five- and eight-storey blocks of flats. The old part, between Tsarigradsko shose and Hrabrets Street is marked by small brick condominiums.
